Am I a submissive man, or am I a slave?
This is a question that is not easy to answer. However, I can give my opinion and bring my perspective to this eternal question.
First, we must try to see the differences.

The first important difference, in my opinion, is that a submissive man is voluntary, while a slave is not. Well, that was during the time of slavery, not nowadays. For me, if I offer my body and soul to my Mistress, I do so of my own free will.
During the relationship, the submissive man retains rights, whereas the slave surrenders them to his dominant Mistress. The slave is not free to refuse certain things, while a submissive man still maintains some control in terms of limits, actions, and thoughts.
However, the slave completely trusts his Mistress, who will educate him to be perfect in her eyes.
For example, if he receives a punishment, he knows it is for his own good and for the evolution of the relationship, to become perfect according to his Owner’s expectations.
The Mistress is also there to take care of her slave, to educate him, to mold him, to make him better, and to ensure he is more than perfect.
Moreover, the slave does not expect the same things from the relationship as a submissive man might.
Slave vs. Submissive Man: The Depth of BDSM Devotion
The slave knows that the relationship will be difficult and that submission will not always be easy. He expects orders to carry out, things he may not enjoy, but which he will do for the happiness of his Owner.
A slave is not better than a submissive man, but rather different.
The essential difference lies in the limits of submission. For a slave, there are none.
For me, a slave’s belonging is 24/7 (except during professional activities). A slave has no privacy from his Mistress. He can confess and speak about his state of mind without any restrictions because he belongs to his Mistress.
The slave no longer has an independent existence. Thus, he exists only for the pleasure and well-being of his Mistress. His dominant Mistress becomes his priority in life.
Out of love, a human being is capable of many things. And yes, the (voluntary) slave loves his Mistress more than anything in the world, and the Mistress loves her slave.
Of course, this is a different kind of love from fairy tales, but love nonetheless.
