Ladies in latex ! The Veronicas will ooze sex appeal in skin-tight rubber favored by Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Rihanna for Australian tour

They are determined to command the spotlight after six years in the music wilderness.

So the Veronicas have opted for cleavages and sexy rubber to perform on stage for their Australian tour which kicks off on Thursday.

Moreover, sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso, 30, have commissioned latex designer to the stars Abigail Greydanus to cut their outfits typically worn by stars Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

The raven-haired crooners will make their live comeback on home turf strutting their stuff in largely black, nude, white and red rubber, they say.

Jess told the Daily Telegraph: ‘Our costumes are latex so getting them on and off in two minute intervals is a huge challenge.’

The twins made their highly anticipated return to the music scene in September launching their chart topping track, You Ruin Me.

Since then they have gone from strength to strength, having worn latex dresses by Abigail for an energetic performance in California backing 5 Seconds Of Summer in November.

The pint-sized singers have already showcased a selection of garments they plan to wear.

Lisa and Jessica first entered show business as the Buxton twins on the Australian television program, Cybergirl.

They then went on to form The Veronicas in 1999, and made waves with their first single 4ever in 2005.

During their career, the twins also released a self-titled fashion line at Target in Australia.
